Dreaming of Color and Updates on my Patio
Written by faith | 1Yes, Seattle is gray and wet but this March is cold with gray and wet. I’m so tired of it (believe me, I have lots of company). So this Seattle interior designer sees daffodils, pink buds and dreams of color on my patio this summer. My teak furniture is now grayed.. and I love it that way. Two persimmon-colored fiberglass plant containers mark the boundaries of my unit. I created an Olioboard to get started on my updates… and the BIG update is a rug to start.
My dreamy additions:
- Chaise Fabric is from Trina Turk for F Schumacher…I am in love with her outdoor designs!
- Side table is a favorite from West Elm.. the martini table (aptly named, don’t you think?)
- Rug - Liora Manne is a whiz textile designer. Check out her site.
Yet to come are the table accessories.. and my plants and flowers…come on sun! Of course, there’s basil, rosemary and thyme…
I’m wondering about a new umbrella cover too.
