This Seattle interior designer is joyfully working on a wonderful project. Last Thursday I visited the site to meet my upholsterer, Jose Plata, who templated the new window seat. It is part of a sitting room addition to the master bedroom.

A window seat channels nostalgia with a romantic notion of leisure and indulgence. When you look at this one in construction you can imagine time to sit and watch the world go by.

As a designer, I notice how clients seek nooks and crannies for coziness. A window seat invites us and we feel comfortable and at home. A wonderful textile from Kravet, GP&J Baker is the selection for the seats and back cushions. A blue and white drapery will be a stunning finishing touch.
