Outdoor Spaces Seattle - Signs of Spring

Written by faith | 1

Not a figment of my imagination. I saw daffodils ready to bloom this morning so let’s imagine your Seattle outdoor space. Take an inventory of your present outdoor space and consider these tips. You can create an outdoor space and enjoy a relaxed lifestyle when the temperatures rise and the sun comes out in the Northwest.

    Add Color

The changes in fabric technology and the options are amazing so take advantage. Colorful umbrellas, cushions, pillows, rugs and drapery panels spice up the outdoor space.

    Stay Cool and Dine Outdoors

Even as the temperature climbs you can entertain with ease using an umbrella that covers the entire table. Notice the table accessories that add zest to the table setting. Comfortable seating with cushions invite your guests to linger, share stories and maybe sip some Washington wine.

Bold, Bright, Breezy Fabrics for a Patio Pool Lifestyle

Written by faith | 0

Designer collaborations are never ending with some hugely successful and others ho hum. I am excited to see a new collaboration which pairs the fabulous colors and patterns of Trina Turk in outdoor fabrics for F Schumacher fabrics.

From Schumacher “Trina’s dramatic collection of indoor/outdoor prints, many of which were originally designed for her resort collections, are inspired by the poolside lifestyle of Los Angeles and Palm Springs, and also the variety of cultural influences and landscapes that are found in California. Bold geometric patterns are mixed with prints derived from natural motifs, and also designs discovered in Trina’s extensive collection of vintage apparel. The color palette of this collection is fashion-influenced; bright and breezy shades of turquoise, citron, watermelon and marine are combined with smart neutrals such as sand dune and charcoal, giving these outdoor suitable prints a thoroughly modern appeal.”
