Beauty With Benefits-Garden Tour to Benefit Hopelink

Written by faith | 0

Over the course of a few years, this interior designer in Seattle meets many other design professionals who practice in the area of garden and landscape. And in the past 12 months, Tina Dixon and I worked closely on two projects. Not only is Tina an award winning landscape and garden designer, she is also an advocate for community causes such as Hopelink. Hopelink offers an integrated array of programs that enable families in crisis to make progress toward and achieve self-sufficiency. We all know that right now is a particularly rough time for those of our neighbors who have no safety net for their families.

Hopelink Benefit Garden Tour

Tina and her husband, Paul Stredwick, are hosting a garden tour and party at their home in Bothell on Sunday, August 15th. Take advantage of this opportunity to see a nationally awarded garden and donate to a worthy cause too.

Loving Landscape Color in the Northwest

Written by faith | 0

This expert Seattle interior designer is delighted to see Tina Dixon acknowledged this past Sunday in the Pacific Northwest insert of the Seattle Times. Tina is engaging, authentic and brings her own personal style to a project and I am pleased to be co-designing with her on a 900 square foot roof deck facing Lake Washington in Madison Park.

Tina’s signature is color.. not just in her plantings but in her containers. My clients on this project embrace color as well and thus it’s a great fit and team for everyone. At at meeting today, the team from Prestige Custom Builders, Matt and Seth, shared their vision for the ‘hardscape’. I am eager to share this project once we get it moving. So look for photos as construction gets started.. It will be quick as summer in Seattle will soon beckon us outdoors.

In the meantime, enjoy some of the images from Tina’s story in the Pacific Northwest Magazine.
