Client Testimonial

Urban Loft

In the remodel of this 160 square foot kitchen, an overriding desire to connect the kitchen to the outdoors results in an eight foot window instead of traditional upper/lower cabinets. This repeats the theme on the first floor which is open allowing peeks of garden and abundant light via the stairwell and other windows. The clients prefer a Zen-like concept of clean lines, sleek surfaces and minimal clutter.

Beautiful Kitchen Design

Customization allows all refrigeration undercounter, four feet on the wall and 2 feet in the island. Pullouts organize recycling, tableware, glassware, cookware and spice storage while a wall of cabinets 24” deep collects small appliances, baking, linens and such. The result is a Gourmet Cook’s Kitchen’ in hiding achieving the sleek, seamless transition request of the clients.

Kitchen Counter Top

The use of horizontal Wenge and horizontal rift-cut white oak veneers maintains a recurring horizontal design element throughout the home as do the simple cabinet pulls parallel to the grain. The Basalt counter material continues to the floor on the island and maintains smooth, continuous lines.
