Previously I’ve identified myself as a textile junkie. It’s one of my interior design passions. Why? There is so much history around textiles, culture and traditions. And if you’re passionate as I am about textiles, adding the rich history into your design adds greater dimension to your interiors. It allows a story to easily accompany the design concept. And stories …

A covered area with heaters
We are busier than ever. More time on the road commuting and increased office time are part of the issue. How to slow our fast paced lives, leave the frenzy and relax? and really stop and smell the roses?
I have a few ideas to add relaxation and to make our homes more harmonious …

Never ever out of style, the use of trims in design ebbs and flows. For my own projects, I’m of the opinion that the use of trimmings adds the finishing touch and detail that elevates a project. Trims make a special statement which captures the eye and draws attention to a lovely fabric or shape. Some refer to trims as …

Warm & Toasty on the walls
Why warm and toasty you might ask? Here in Seattle by late October the days are getting shorter and shorter and that results in dark rooms by 4:30pm. The lights come on in our rooms and we yearn for some sun and light through our windows.

Console sink
Loving my new bathroom.. so much so that it’s hard to recall my old one (maybe). The design concept brings me all the important elements: ease of use, visually appealing, plenty of lighting, abundant storage and luxuries that make it a pleasure. The narrow tall pullouts next to the tub add 84″ of storage from toilet paper to cleaning supplies and more.
Hidden storage shelves
What’s my favorite?
The thermostatic valve from #Brizo. …

Escala luxury high-rise condo
I’m often asked this question when people come to my website and see the image of the downtown condo. Certainly one reason my clients choose a lifestyle on the 23rd floor is the magnificent views. That also equals windows! So what do they do?
Enter the world of automated window coverings to achieve light control and privacy. And in the featured project, the clients turned to a Seattle company, Definitive Audio. …
