Another favorite from my judging at the Portland Street of Dreams was the Calistoga by Pahlisch Homes. The reclaimed wood theme continued along with excellent interior furnishing selections throughout the home. The beautiful tile from Pratt and Larson captures attention immediately on the back-splash and used a ‘floor rugs’.

Beyond the tile, this home showcased some special features that this Seattle interior designer and judge loved. One was a pantry with a pass-through to a mudroom off the garage, making unloading groceries easy. There was also a second refrigerator tucked into this pantry.
Another recurring theme in many homes was the use of tile counters in the bathroom vanities. Does this mean slab is no longer mandatory? I hope so!
A cozy sun-room adjacent to the kitchen seems like the perfect spot for morning coffee, a book or a glass of wine.
Next to the kitchen, this sun-room has many possibilities for coffee, reading, wine.
