Luxury high rise Seattle condos bring challenges. My clients had earlier determined condo living was for them. In fact when I met them, they lived in a beautiful waterfront view condo (Lake Washington) in southern Seattle. Over the years, and many updates and remodels later, they mulled options for other locations. So what would lure them from this idyllic setting?
How about an office two blocks away, Pike’s Place Market, downtown shopping, dining and views of the Puget Sound. As I started our process to design the newly purchased condo luxury high rise Seattle condo, one thing quickly became an issue. The size of their furnishings. Yes, the area rugs, dining table, seating and more was not a fit to the new spaces. And closets? space for clothing was a challenge especially for a dental professional and his wife who often attended fund raising events in Seattle.
With the help of California Closets a complete closet solution was created for every closet or storage area in the new condo. We carved out a niche for a home office that was a high tech solution for their needs. The home office solution was an absolute necessity to stay up-to-date for the dental practice.
And then there was their extensive art collection. Luxury high rise Seattle condos share a common feature. Lots and lots of large exterior windows and few walls for hanging art. It became a delicate and difficult discussion to review their collection and select suitable placement for their art. Fortunately an art consultant stepped in to guide them and also reframed some of their treasures.
Next came a solution to control the solar shades throughout the condo and a lighting and sound system to correctly handle lighting, sound, and entertainment.
After a total refresh of paint, fabrics and furnishings, my clients live with ease in their luxury high rise Seattle condo on the 21st floor.
