Yesterday a client asked for a referral for an event planner. She’s planning a party for 30 colleagues. A memory of this event flashed for me. So I wanted to share this post again. I loved planning and participating. As I sent her a recommendation, I decided to repost this blog.. Enjoy!
It was a perfect September Saturday for a reveal party. My clients anticipated eagerly this celebration of their condominium design and the opportunity to invite 20+ friends to a catered reveal party I designed just for them. The custom designed invitation from Studio Grace captures perfectly the inspiration of the design…my client’s favorite dress. Thus the reveal party invitation says, “It all started with a dress.”
Friends gathered and toasted my clients with champagne, appetizers and gifts as it was also the one year anniversary of their move into this condominium.
The dress inspired that great accent teal color from Color Stories, CSP-700 Skydive, which repeats in the invitation, and custom living room and office rugs. The furnishing plan allows easy conversation and expansion of seating using what I call, small seats that can easily move. You can see the lustrous ceiling treatment over the dining room table. Using seven, yes you read that correctly, coats of high gloss enamel paint from Fine Paints of Europe, a glow carries through the condo ceilings. Both eye-catching and subtly elegant, the ceilings WOWED guests at the reveal party.
Hard at work in the kitchen, the caterers served delicious appetizers throughout the party with special sweet treats from Fran’s Chocolates.
