Walking around my neighborhood and Seattle, I see the smiles and excitement as the holiday season begins. A special place that always lifts me up is Pike’s Place Market. The bustle is contagious and makes me instantly happy.
I was walking through the market the other day when the idea popped into my head to create a gift guide for you. This season is all about spending time together and showing our appreciation for the people in our lives — sharing a hand-selected gift is a special way to do that.
In that spirit, I am thrilled to share this thoughtfully curated Gift Guide with all of you. There’s something for everyone, from family to friends to clients. As you might imagine, a lot of Seattle favorites are represented, along with places and products I am familiar with and use myself. Introducing you to them warms my heart, and I hope you find something here that warms yours, too.
Enjoy!
Chef Nicole Rucker’s Honey Chess Pie
For: Foodie friends
Deliciousness is the word. Nicole is a four-time blue ribbon pie contest winner and it’s well deserved. Those who bake and appreciate the efforts required will love this sweet and spicy pie and keep coming back for more! You can order your pie here.
Lush Candle
For: The Home Decor Lover
These candles are hand-poured in the U.S.A. from a luxury blend of soy waxes. The Lush fragrance is a subtle combination of apricot, fig, and the earthiness of muguet and cedarwood. These luxurious candles have a cotton wick and will burn for 60 hours.
Fortuity Wine Club
For: The Wine Lover
Lovers of Washington wine will enjoy this relatively new winery. It’s excellent. Start with a small order and gift. The Holiday Gift is especially tempting.
Theo Chocolate
For: Who isn’t a chocolate lover? This Seattle company is a treat.
Such great variety of chocolate choices but some are special to the Holiday Season. Order and share. Friends and family will love! This season it’s hazelnuts and sweet brittle chunks in 55% dark chocolate – crunchy, salty, and decadent.
Glassy Baby
For: Design lovers adore Glassy Baby, the story, and the giving opportunities provided.
I urge any of you unfamiliar with this company to read the story. A Seattle institution, one can gift this to themselves, friends and family and for any occasion. The colors are exceptional!
Etsy Gift Guide
For: The Design Lover
Wonderful ideas abound at this site! They are also divided into price, age, and seasonal categories. I use this site all year round and it always delights.
Starbucks Gift Card
For: The Thankee or Coffee Lover
The Starbucks gift card is multipurpose. This isn’t original but ever so ‘on the spot’ useful and appreciated.
Watson Kennedy Home Goods
For: The Design Lover
This shop (and website) is a treasure trove of gifts for anyone. And I just love it for myself too. Should you visit Seattle, it’s right next door to Pike’s Place Market and there’s a second location too.
Picture Frames
For: The Design Lover
Never enough of them.. but the where to find them is the challenge. During my High Point trip this fall, I saw some great ones at a vendor with an online site called Zodax.
Faith Sheridan Design Consultation
For: The Design & Home Lover
Some clients gift time with me for birthdays, special occasions, and especially as a new project is getting started. I will design the presentation of this gift after speaking to you, so it’s personalized.

So enjoyed seeing the pictures of your family!! Just a coincidence after looking at Sue and Tom Knight on the pedestrian bridge.
How have you been? Successful for sure as you always were the best decorator and friend I enjoyed so much. The years have escaped quickly and with them many changes. Would love to hear from you.
Happy New Year to you!!
