Sharing Holiday Favorites from Seattle

I’m sharing my holiday favorites in this blog.. this month is a busy one for this Seattle interior designer

and I have some shortcuts that simplify my holiday decorating.

What a perfect symbol for holiday display and a favorite to remind us of candy canes.

In past December posts, wreathes, mantels and table settings inspired me but this time I’m thinking about small living.

Without a tree ( or place for one), I saw a candle on T J’s Fearless Flyer and the magical smell of a tree fills my living room.

A few years ago a favorite, dear client gifted me a glass tree which graces my mantel and

reminds me of the symbolism of the tree at this time of the year. It’s from Simon Pierce so take a cue if you’d like.

Iif I lived in a grander home versus my 850 SF condo, I’d love a fireplace decorated like this one from Nell Hill’s blog.

It’s classic and cozy at the same time.

I might like a simpler or more transitional chair and so on, but the sentiment of this photo is perfect holiday.

I’m certainly NOT a tartan fan and many of you most likely saw the take-down of Williams Sonoma holiday catalog.

Need I say more?

The Pantone color of the year is a lovely green ‘Greenery’..which I applaud. More from Pantone

Those words ~ tumultuous social and political environment

combined

with our desire to rejuvenate and revitalize ~ reconnection. I’m in.

In the photo below I see that lovely color

on the wall and in the garland.
